I plan on sending the money to pockets today for a spot. =) is it possible to get practice with a polisher on one of those old fenders or body panels from the shop next door? Would I be able to practice AND finish my car in one day? Thanks!

depends on how early you get here how bad your car is.. and how long you plan to stay :) im sure some people will give you a hand and a few pointers

Today is the LAST DAY to sign up for Detailing Weekend and get the $25 weekend credit for Poorboy's World Products.

Remember - We will be accepting entry day of (or up until then) and there will still be a $20 fee per vehicle.

Hmm, well the Accord I bought used last year, and it's black. The previous owner didn't seem to pay too much mind to the paint, you can see where bugs "splatted" on the hood and left their mark. Also has swirl marks as most black cars do. So it will probably need a fair amount of work. The civic is a new lease from September, is blue, and that should be easy, maybe just a quick polish and wax for that one.

Edit: Being as I'm maybe 40-45 minutes away, I should be able to arrive early and leave late without issue. =)

Pockets, can you make sure I have a fender or two from the body shop to practice on? =)

How long of an extension cord would you guys suggest for someone who brings a PC?
