The wife and kids got me an early Father's Day gift. I put it together and tossed a coat of Polish with Sealant on it because I can. She stepped me up from the standard 22.5" Weber Kettle to the newer 26.75" one. This is Texas after all, things are bigger here.

*edit, had some rain, figured why not post some shots. to anyone wondering homemade grill is still not finished, welds need grinding etc, i know !

I have a cookoff in a few weeks, so I got some practice in.
Experiment for the open category, Stuffed Chorizo Meatballs
I did some spares too, but someone got to them first.
This weekend will be more experimentation including Bacon Wrapped Burnt Ends, Bacon Wrapped Shrimp and a turkey breast. I'll try to get some pictures.
