Nattys Blue Paste leaving smears

I have found this happening to me only when Natty's gets to hot in its container, the paste becomes way to soft

my cure to this is I put the Natty's jar in a zip-loc bag and drop it in cold water for a 1/2 hr or so, or rewash the car with a very light solution of Super Slick & Suds.

Thanks for the tip Beercan. I kept mine in the garage, which is like an oven at the moment, so the paste was very soft. That's why I was dabbing it with the pad rather than wiping it, because if I wiped it I'd end up scooping out half the pot.
I might have to bring my decent detailing products into the house somewhere then.
