The Cancellation Department, Please!!!

Yesterday I was on the war path to get my TV, phone (office line and DSL) and Net monthly services lowered. I have Direct TV and AT&T for one land line and Net service.

Total was $260. a month on the average. I called in and asked for the cancellation department (really I pushed buttons until I got there) When I was finally able to speak with someone. I told them that I was canceling the service based on an offer from another provider that was much less than what I was paying.

In both cases I was able to lower the monthly by 50%, no changes to the service. In fact with the net connection I was able to upgrade to a higher speed connection.


I passed this to the VP of Sales for one of the companies I rep for, he did the same with his provider and saved close to 700 bucks a year doing the same.
