ssr 3 what next

hi there
i have a ford escort zx2 1998,it had alot of spiderweb ,i used poorboys ssr3 on it ,now it hazed it know could be normal after heavy compound,but to remove haze shoud i go ssr1 then polish or ssr 2 then polish ,also which pad should i use ,i use lake country,i was thing of doing ssr 1 with orange cutting ,then polish with sealant included with white pad
please let me know
also if i use polish with sealant included how long before i can put on ex sealant ,what is the cure time for poorboys aio

Hi and welcome to our forum ........

After SSR3 (I'm guessing you used a cutting pad) I would go over it again quickly with SSR3 and a white polishing pad. Then follow with SSR2 or SSR2.5 with a polishing pad or 1-2 passes with the orange pad first if the hazing is really bad. A few passes may be needed at at least a speed of 5 or 6. when your hazing is gone, then use the PwS with a polishing pad and work it well ...you do not have to wait to put the EX on once you are satisfied with the finish.

the car is red ( not as bad as black).i looked at it today in the sun ,the haze is not as bad as i though,still small amount of shine comming through but still have small amount of spider left ,maybe 15%,i was thinking of doing ssr 2 or ssr 2.5 with orange cutting pad ,then doing pws ,what do you think,
yes the ssr 3 was done with orange cutting pad,what would be the reason to go back with the ssr3 with polish pad white,just curious

SSR3 with polishing pad would be a milder step, sort of easing your way into SSR2 or 2.5 instead of working the 2/2.5 harder to "fix" the haze from 3.

I would stay away from the orange pad after you finish your "corrective" polishing, as you may re-introduce hazing after you remove it with a polishing pad and previous SSR. (I've introduced haze with an orange pad and Polish with Sealant, so the orange pad is fairly aggressive regardless of which polish you are using.
