Have you ever used a rotary polisher before? If not, I would strongly suggest that you find an old car (or a junked hood/bonnet panel) to practice upon before attempting to use the machine on your 2004 Renault. A rotary polisher is a serious tool which can damage paint very quickly if you do not possess sufficient skills or training.
If you are skilled with a rotary, then there are a number of product/pad combination alternatives. I would suggest starting with Professional Polish as the product. The choice of pad should be based upon your specific preferences. Some people like wool pads. Others are terrified of wool and insist upon only using mild foam pads.
Perhaps you could describe in more detail your skill level and the tools you have at your disposal?
