New Car Paint: When to Wax

Just picked up a 2012 Sonata.

It's Pacific Blue and I really want to treat it to Natty's Paste wax. Can anyone tell me how long the paint should cure before applying Natty's? (the car was built about a week ago)

Also, is there a Poorboy's product that would work best on new paint?

Should be ready to go. Factory paint is "baked" on, so it is cured out of the factory.

You received the car one week after it was built? That's pretty fast. Was it an order or did you pick it off the lot when the truck came in?

Like the others said the paint is ready to go in regards to waxing. Do you plan on polishing first? You would be suprised how much clarity and depth PP or PwS can add to a new finish especially the metallic flake.
