Do i really need a sealant?

Hi there,

I have just bought a few Poorboys products but i didn't get a sealant and polish!

What i got was:
Shampoo
SSR1
SSR2.5
Pro Polish with Carnauba
Nattys Blue Wax

My process was to do:
1. shampoo
2. clay
3. SSR1 by hand (or skip this step as i'm not confident to bring a RO to my car yet).
4. Pro Polish with Carnauba
5. Wax with Nattys

Do i need a polish? I've been told that the Pro Polish with Carnauba is more like a glaze than a polish, is this true?

Also, do i need a sealant like EX-P before i apply the wax?

In Australia you can only get Poorboys from a few shops and shipping fees are kind of high if i'm just going to order one product (EX-P) so i would prefer to know before spending money that wouldn't make a significant difference to the end finish!

Thanks for your help!

ProPolish isn't the same as Polish with Carnauba. Pro Polish is a (non-abrasive) polish that is pad dependent. It can remove some decent marring, and it can be used as a final polish. PwC is an All-In-One product that does some light polishing and leaves some protection all in one step.

You don't *need* a sealant, but some people like the look better, and some people like to use something that lasts longer than a wax. If you don't mind rewaxing a bit more frequently, then no problem skipping the sealant.

PwC will be a polish in your scenario. Adding the Natty's will add to the protection/looks.
