Best way to remove Tar Spots with Bug Squash

Whats the best way to remove really stubborn tar spots from the lower half of my car, using Bugs Squash ?

Is it simply spray on, agitate and rinse ?

Spray on full strength and let it dwell for a while , wash with a mesh cloth and they should come off ..

For really stubborn older tar, I would use Strip Down decontamination spray.
