I'm new to detailing and i have a few questions in the order on which i should apply the products. To my knowledge it goes like this:

1.Wash and dry
2.clay
3.sealant (which do you prefer for my red truck)
4. polish( again which do you prefer)
5. wax (i was thinking natty's red paste wax)

is this correct? Please respond with your opinions and thank you for your replies.

Sealant after polishing, before wax.

As to product preferences, it depends much on the task at hand.

what shape is the paint in?

On a new detail I do this:

Wash (two bucket method)
Clay
Based on paint, SSR or Pure polish
Seal ( or polish seal)
Wax

That being said it depends on paint condition. I often use SSR3 then move to SSR2 or SSR1, access from there.

Can you give us a some shots of the the paint to help you more?

The first step is using great products and you have found them by using PB's.

Bonus question, are you doing this by hand or with a DA?
