Poorboy's Professional Polish Issue

I ran into an issue with Poorboys Professional Polish this afternoon. This is the sixth time I have used this product. Today I was working on my dads 1998 White Ford Explorer and the product was VERY hard to remove. I had to use a little quick detail spray to aid in removal. What could have caused this? Never had this problem with my Toyota Tacoma.

My process:
Wash
Clay
SSR1
Poorboys Professional Polish
EX Sealant

Any help would be great.

Hi Matthew,

There are only few things I can think of off hand. 1) you may have put it on a bit too thick or 2) It might have been a little humid or damp out ...was either of these variables possible?

Poorboy thank you for addressing my question.

I don't think weather is an issue today, was not humid out today. But it could be a issue of the product being applied on to thick. But when I detail I work sections at a time. When I started to notice that I was having removal problems I started to apply a thinner coat.

Who knows maybe just had an off day.

putting it on thin and working it thoroughly are two important processes.
If you do find it hard to remove, leave it and let it dry. PP is much easier to remove if it is not damp. ;)
