A few shots of my '07 Pontiac Solstice GXP. It was a week old in these pics. I hit it with some PBW Professional Polish, EX-P, and some Natty's Blue. I also put on 2 coats of Natty's Wheel Sealant and then some Bold n' Bright and the tires.

That was all last weekend. This week I put on another coat of Natty's blue and then used Leather stuff on the interior. I'll have to grab some more pics next weekend...

Thanks! Those pics were taken just after sunset. It's amazing what you can do with a good digital SLR. Photogaraphy is my other hobby...

Yesterday, I put the Natty's Blue on a little too thick and left it on a little too long. It left some streaks that would not come off with a wool pad on a rotary, by hand with a MF towel, or even with my finger nail.

I used a cheap orbital with some QW+ on a foam pad and it came right off. You should have seen it today after I used some Spray and Wipe on it!

Very nice car :D

You could have also used PwC to even out the wax. QW+ is also a good choice. The key is to chemically even out the wax look not mechanically with abrasives.

I have just about all of your products except the PwC! LOL!!!

Of course, fool that I am, I tried to use some Spray and Wipe on it today to take some dust off. It was pretty cold out and it ended up freezing on the paint. I had to warm it up with a gloved hand to wipe it off.

I ended up wiping the car down with a dry plush MF, but that left some ultra-light scratches. I ended up going over the whole thing with a light coat of QW+. Worked like a charm!!!

I know my neighbors were laughing at me. This was the 3rd or 4th day in a row I've been out there polishing away!

You should see the originals, much bigger and much more detail! I'm using an 8.2 megapixel Canon 30D. I love that almost as much as I do my car! :D

When you decide to buy an SLR, let me know and I can make a recomendation based on your budget.

One tip, though, go with Canon. They have the best sensors. I researched for about 18 months before I bought mine...

LOL ...it's best to work at 40* or better

Best for the car AND for me! At one point I thought I was going to freeze myself to the car. Kind of like Ralphie's tongue and the flagpole in "The Christmas Story"

Thanks, Mate!

How's Sydney doing these days? I haven't been there in almost 2 years. I love that place. Its by far the cleanest city I've been too and I've been all around the world (20-some countries on 5 continents). I'm planning on retiring there in another 9 years or so...

That sucks! Last time I was there, it poured down for a couple days or so. Still had a good time, though!!!

It was finally sunny and warm enough to do some major work. 2 weekends ago, I did this:

Saturday:
1) Wash with Super Slick & Suds
2) SSR 2 with white pad
3) SSR 1 with a black pad
4) Pro Polish with a black pad
5) Wheel sealant by applicator pad

Sunday:
1) Wipe down with S&W
1) Pro Polish with a black pad
2) EX with a black pad (AM)
3) EX-P with a black pad (PM)

This past weekend, I did this:

Saturday:
1) Pre-wash/soak with Bug Squash (3:1)
2) Wash with Super Slick & Suds
3) Pro Polish with a black bad
4) Natty's blue applied with my bare hand (no pads at all)

Sunday:
1) Wipe down with S&G
2) B&B on the tires
3) Drove it for over 200 Miles
4) Another wipe down with S&G

I still can't get the Micro-Marring out though. You can only see it in directly reflected sunlight...

That is a stunning car, I love the styling on the Solstice 8) .

We cant get these in the UK or I'd have one. Just bought a new MX5 2.0i Sport in Brilliant Black. Getting a PC Polisher when I can find a supplier in the UK.

Will post pics of the Mazda soon.

You should have checked out the Opel GT... It's the European version ov the Solstice GXP...

It too is not available in the UK, only Europe and it would be left hand drive..... which means high insurance..... and a car "the other half" would find difficult to drive.

There was a rumour that Vauxhall were doing a version in the UK, but the styling wasn't that hot..... unlike the Solstice.
