Well, this storm was worse for us than Irene was. River rose and we had water in the basement and garage up to my shoulders. :-( Fortunately I spent Saturday moving out everything I could, so losses were less than with Irene. I made sure to move all my PB's detailing products out of the garage, so they are safe!

I'm not really worried about this storm. It was the storm surge and high tides that got us with Sandy, not the rain. But nothing has been put back in the basement yet anyway. LOL

It is sertainly worse than us in the mid-south thought it would get, glad to hear so many are ok, but sad for the ones that aren't. We dropped off some stuffed-animals, clothes, blankets an such at the redcross yesterday, but hate that theres not much more we can do from down here other than pray. Hang in there gang!

we still have not heard from cousins that were evacuated from Long Beach, NY the pictures on the news do not really show the pure devistation to places that have memories for generations of families ... gas lines are now gone from what we saw today ... Nor'Easter coming tomorrow .....

Yeah, some places have just been practically wiped out. And now this new storm coming in. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't do much damage.

Gas lines by me are almost non-existent at this point which is great to see. :)
