Been working on everyone else's cars so I wanted to get mine done.

Had a lot of product build up but didn't want to get too aggressive.

What I used after wash and clay:

thanks

I got started around 5 pm last night. After a wash (used dawn to remove old wax, I know its a no no but it needed it)
Took me about 2.5 hours to clay this beast
Then I taped off the trim and got started.
I got through SSR2, SSR1, and Polish last night around 1 am or so
Went to bed
Got started at 7:30 AM this morning and Had to do the Tail Gate with SSR2, SSR1, Polish then I used EX-P on the entire truck. Waited about an hour to let the EX-P set up then removed and then waxed.
Finshed up at 12:30 pm or so.

So all in all, 13 hours total I guess.

In that 13 hours I am counting the trim work, and QD, and windows.

I am about to start on the interior. Giving the leather the "spa" treatment tonight. Hot MF's towels....sounds like a good idea eh?

Cheers

JP

Excellent job. Can't wait to see interior shots.

Thanks littlemissGTO, I typically don't do inside shots...and since this is my truck I keep her pretty clean...doing the interior on a King Ranch means using hot MF towels on the costano leather then mild scrubbing. After the seats dry they are very light in color...then you have to use a concoction of products to bring them back to dark.

I do have some interior shots but they just photos of my stereo.

Different forum... :)

Car audio is also interesting to me. I'm trying to decide between a carputer (using a MacMini) and going with an in dash dvd/nav system. I already know what speakers and amps I want.
