TRIM RESTORER

Hello.

We are getting in BMW X5 2008 to our garage, which has "something" white on the exterior details. The car has been polished with some other brand of products and i think it is maybe compound products that are on the grey details.

The exterior details on that car are non-silicone and do not require any kind of treatment, says BMW. What product is safe to use on that car to clean the exterior details?

I am new to poorboys products, so i hope that i can get some help.

I don't know anything about BMW surfaces.
I have used Trim Restorer, and it works well at bringing back the darker color of trim. It also helps clean out some wax residue from textured surfaces. But as to your particular car/issue, I don't have any first hand experience.

I think the the polish on the trim is one year old, so it would be cleaning i need to do. I don't know what kind of polish/rubbing they have used, but what i know is that they was not able to remove the white spots on the trim. Therefore we are getting it in now.

I would think that it could be removed by some kind of degreaser, but i am not sure about the BMW. BMW in our town could not remove it...

Depending on how harsh the degreaser they used was, it may have discolored the trim. If that's the case, TR may help. If it's still residue in the texture, try using an old toothbrush and work the TR into the piece and see if it might get it out.
