I used SSR2 (polishing pad) and SSR1 (finishing pad) on my bonnet this evening in order to test the products with my new DA polisher and am happy with the swirl free finish they gave.
I then applied some Pro Polish to one half of the bonnet (hood) with a finishing pad in order to see if it would add anything over and above the SSR1. I was unable to notice any difference looks-wise, but did notice that the side of the bonnet (hood) I used Pro Polish on felt much smoother than the side finished with SSR1 alone. In many ways Pro Polish left a finish which felt to me to be not to dissimilar to that left by an AIO such as PwS.
I am curious as to why this may be so. Any ideas?
