If I use SSR2 on a car with a black vc pad, should I follow up with SSR1 and another vc black pad....or does the SSR2 finish out smooth. I have wondered this but never asked. I have been following the progression but may be wasting product....let me know!

what do you plan to use as your next step? is it a polish like pro polish or polish with sealant?

Depending on your skill and expectations, one may go directly from SSR2 to a sealant/wax. Using SSR1 may give you an added glossiness, but if the car is in poor shape or if it's a daily driver that doesn't require "perfection" then you may be fine without the extra step.

I've used it on a black Ford Escort without following up and it looked good. (If you have a white car or something that doesn't show imperfections very well, you may not notice any added benefit of the extra step either.)
