Spray & Gloss or QD+

I'm looking for a product to maintain that "just waxed" look. My car is garaged at home, and I park in a garage at work. It stays relatively clean, but I looove a clean, shiny car.

Probably QD+, as it has a bit of wax in it, but there are fans of S+G too, so it may be more up to personal tastes.

I love the QD+ but I typically use it only after a wash. For day to day use i prefer S&G. But as BigLeegr says it's personal preference.

Both work fantastic.

Cheers!

I love S&G but have had just as good results with QD+

Yeap, same here :D

Both are great!

Both will give u the just waxed look, but one will give u added protection each time u use it whereas the other one doesn't :)

I tried both today as a test. I applied S&G in the rear, QD+ in the front; then of course it rained (which is inevitable in Florida). While the S&G did bead up slightly, the QD+ nearly had the water "sheeting" off. OK pre-rain results: S&G gave overall better aesthetics; literally looked like I just did a full detail. You can also use S&G on glass which is a huge plus for me. QD+ gave awesome results too, just with less shine. Still, QD+ was a fast, easy touch-up between details. I'm honestly very happy with both, and intend to keep both as a staple.

Cool, thanks for posting the results! Did you happen to take any pics??

Sorry, no pics :( I didn't even have enough time to move my car into the garage before it started to rain. In Florida, it's sunny one minute and in the next there's a monsoon.

Sorry to dig up the topic, but I'm still between this products. Initially I was thinking about S&G but I would like to have some protection too. Although I lean more to Spray & Gloss I really don't know what to choose... My car is waxed so I guess if I don't have the protection of QD+ is not that bad.

Well, you could get both and try them for yourself to see which you prefer.
You could get the sampler kit that has S+W, S+G, QD+ and BS.

I use em both...............

On most occassions I use SG as a drying agent. After final rinse I spray a few sprays on face of ww towel, then one or two sprays per panel and dry.

If I'm not in a lazy mood, I will follow up with QD+.

Just seems to add that extra punch for me.

Hard choice... :)
So it's ok to use both with the car wax? It's not gonna take off the wax right?

I use the S+G more just becasue I can use it as a drying aid and it goes on and comes off a little easier than the QD+ if i'm going to do a spray wax quick detailer I'm going all out and using QW+

So QD+ is more harder to come off? The S&G is easy like S&W?

Anyone? I'm about to order some products and now, (after reading a lot!) i'm leaning to QD+ just because of the extra protection. But I'm just a noobie and I would like a product that was easy to apply and to get off.

sorry, must have missed this thread .. Spray & Gloss is a little easier to use ... remember the QD+ has wax in it, so it will require some light buffing .. I like them both and use them for different purposes .. S&G after washing and QD+ in between waxing to increase gloss and slickness
