After retiring from full time detailing about 14 years ago, I have not detailed anyone's full vehicle !! Yes, I have helped other people and done countless demonstrations and spot repairs, but not a daily driver, mostly show vehicles and friends.
I recently moved and in developing new friends I came across a really nice and knowledgeable neighbor .. the only thing he didn't know about was detailing paint ....
I saw his nice, well taken care of truck with an immaculate interior , but painted very much neglected. Some of the paint is only single stage, as in the bumpers, door handles, side mirrors ...

Steps on this vehicle were
Wash with Super Slick & Wax ...
2 buckets .. one with grit guard(rinse)
Clay with soap as the lubricant
Polish w/ Carnauba blue / Pro Polish as needed
Black Hole
2 coats of Natty's Blue
Spray and Gloss for touch ups
Trim Restorer .. (needs a few more treatments
)
Machine used was the Flex 3401 with 2 Black VC Flex pads
