Hello my name is Luis and im from Los Angeles. My wife and I bought our first new car(2012 Honda Fit Sport in Polished Metal Metallic) a week ago and I want to keep as clean as possible. I have spent the last week reading countless detailing threads and have finally settled on using Poorboys products.
Our car's paint is a metallic dark grey so I decided to learn more about Natty's Blue and after looking at your product line and reading the Poorboy forums i see there are a bunch of products i could use.
I did come accross a good post by Poorboy about how to to start detailing a new car:
"For a new vehicle I would do these steps;
wash
clay
Polish w/ Sealant or Professional Polish
EX or EX-P
optional steps
Black Hole or White Diamond Glaze
Natty's Red, White or Blue"
I will pretty much follow these steps but i need to make a final decision on my product selection. I dont mind doing all the steps separately PP>EX-P>Natty's Blue but i can see how some steps can be taken out. PwS>Wax(no need for sealant?) or PP>EX(no need for wax?). I would appreciate any help with this new hobby! Thanks everyone!
