What pads do you have? Are you looking to polish the swirls out or just fill with a glaze?

A glaze "fills" light marring. It wears off and the marring is again visable. Sometimes this is the best answer if your paint is old/thin (not likely in your case, of course) or if the person just wants to do a "quick fix." The glaze needs to be topped with a wax.

To see what you need to do to polish out your swirls, I'd say read the posts throughout this forum. There are many threads with the same type of question as yours, with much more info than I'd likely type out.
