I have holograms .. :(

I decide to refresh my beater with SSR1 and a white polishing pad. After the job, the sun went down so I couldn't see holograms but the next days, I saw them..

What I did wrong ? Could it be because I didn't break the polish enough? ( I must have done around 5 pass at speed 2.5 on my Rotary). I should have used a black pad instead?

Next time.... Is there a product I could use to do a quick job without holograms but still remove the tiny 2500 swirls that happear because of wash?

You may have worked the polish too long.
As for a quick fix product, try either PwC or PwS. They'll help with the fine stuff while adding a bit of protection all in one step. Or you could apply a glaze and wax, if you wanted to do a quick 2 step.

i read that it could be because i didn't mist my pad at the begginning and some part of the pad didn't have compound or lubrication(mist) .

I would have used either the black or red pad and kept the speed real slow if using a rotary :smt004
