How to clean Pads

As most of you may not have a designated pad washing system I'd like to give you a few tips on how to wash pads cheap and easily.

What you will need:
5 gallon pail
Laundry Detergent (free of fabric softener or scents) or a designated pad cleaner
Grit Guard (optional)

First, fill the pail about 3/4 of the way (with warm water) then add a few ounces of detergent to the water and put the GG at the bottom. Throw the pads into the bucket give them a quick squeeze in the water and then let them sit for 15 min. Then one at a time you can use either the GG or your fingers. Rub the Pad on the GG at the bottom or massage the pad with your fingers until it reaches your desired cleanliness. Then run that pad through some clean water to get the detergent out and rinse all the bad water out. Then hang them up to drip dry or put them on a buffing machine and spin dry them (be careful: pads are heavy with water in them. I fling them out first then put them on the machine and gradually crank the speed up as they spin out the water).

You're good to go with your clean pads!
