How do you apply Bold N Bright Gel? In the past I have used a few different versions of foam applicators and brushes, but last Friday I was in a bit of a hurry and didn't want to wait for it to dry, so I applied with an old cotton cloth and scrubbed it into the tires. To my surprise they looked better than any application I had done in the past, and it's now 5 days later and they still look great .. sorry pictures to follow ...but how do you apply?tire gel 001 (WinCE) (2).jpgtire gel 002 (WinCE) (2).jpg

I have not used a cloth in a long time. I have a square foam sponge that I have been using for application. I purchased a lot of them a few years ago and they are slowly eroding or periodically losing them as I use them. Cloth eh? Nice tip!

me too, even had a dedicated sponge but the tires were a bit dirty and I went with something I thought CharlesW had done in his garage a few years back after a Spray and Wipe car wash. I thought he had used a cotton towel to scrub as he applied ..well the results speak for themselves :)

So you sprayed on tire or cloth? Look good!

Gel doesn't spray silly :smt017 ... no, I put a blob on the cotton cloth and then rubbed hard onto the tire ... and yes after 6 days of driving they look really good :smt038

It is not BnB, but I apply NL by applying to with a foam applicator, coating the tires well.
After I make it all the way around, I come back and scrub in / buff with a Tork 520 multi purpose wipe.

Dumb OT question, what would trim restorer do to tires ?
I Never tried it, I guess I could APC and try it on the factory steel spare hanging on the wall if you don't know.

Actually many do use it on tires ... it give a very wet look but takes longer to dry ... great look at shows and also for engine compartment plastics and covers ... it is also not as cost effective as BnB or BnB Gel for tires.
Give it a shot see how you like it ;)
