Help Choosing a Polish

Hello, I have a Black '04 Impala SS. This spring I plan on clay barring the finish. I would like to know which polish would be best to use in between the claybar and wax. Not looking for anything dramatic, just want to even out the finish. I'll be using synthetic wax after if that makes a difference. Thanks

You would need to be more specific about the condition of the paint. Without seeing it first, it would be just guessing on what you should use.

Well, It's in decent shape. The car's got 80K on it and it was polished at the dealer at about 35K and has not been polished since. The hood is pretty dinged up, but the rest of the paint looks goo IMO. Also, forgot to mention before that I will be hand applying unless that won't work, then I should be able to borrow a buffer from someone. Thanks.

By hand, you'll be needing Popeye arms and lots of time if you plan on doing much correction. If you aren't too particular, maybe look at Black Hole glaze to help fill instead of remove.
What kind of buffer would you be able to borrow? If it's a "mart" buffer, you still won't be able to do much correction.

Yeah, that's what I kind of figured the more I read. I think I'm gonna have to see if I can get a buffer before I figure out a plan of action. Thanks for the help.
