I am switching over to the poor boys line after hearing such great reviews.:smt038

To be as brief as possible, I do my vehicles by hand as of now (May look into a porter cable or what you guys recommend for some future detailing).

That being said, I have a couple Mustangs that I will be trying the pb products on. The 1st car has new paint and has never been exposed to the elements. Can you guys point me in the proper direction as to what products I should purchase to apply and remove by hand for this car. Paint is new but fully cured at this point. Its a dark burgundy if that helps.

I have used the Zaino Z2 and Z5 on it and am not really super over whelmed with the results.

Once I order the proper PB product should I strip the Zaino product off?

Thanks in advance and sorry for the newbie type questions.

Welcome to our forum, you will feel like family soon enough ... look at mcate posts ... he is one of our Mustang & Ford gurus :D
I would use Professional Polish (PP) , Black Hole (BH), and finish with Natty's Red...maybe spit shine with Spray & Gloss while doing the Red ...

Enjoy your stay

some how that doesn't surprise me :D

Ha! Well, Steve, I guess I'm guilty as charged! Here's the newest member of my heard. 2009 Shelby GT 500 with only 3900 miles! Nice little story behind it; I test drove this exact car 3 years ago when it was new at another dealership. (We did some checking & verified that it's the same car) Couldn't strike the right deal, so we let it slide & I bought my '09 GT instead. It sold in Oct of that year, & apparently the owners rarely drove it. Sat in a garage with the cover over it. They traded it in to the dealership here in Greenfield, & I wasn't about to let it slip through my hands again! Traded my beloved '09 GT for it. I went over it with a fine tooth comb, almost hoping to find something wrong with it. But it's absolutely flawless. Spent the day today removing all the aftermarket parts off my GT & transferring the ones that fit onto the Shelby. Pics coming once I give it a proper detail. I finally own my dream Mustang!

Congrats to you Mike ... it is a stunning car and out where you are, you might actually be able to really enjoy and let loose .. around here it would be like having a greyhound dog that only had a small backyard to run.. best of luck and looking forward to more of the car.
