Hi all
Trying to understand the working time of PWS
Completely new to rotary usage -have a practice car.
Have a white lake country CCS pad i will be using.
Will be washing and claying car first.
Paint is in real good shap -just lots of very minor sueface scratches.
Have Maguiers ultimate compound for tough areas.

So the questions......
Do i prime the pad first?
How long do i work the product, until it is all gone?
My rotary is a non branded but is variable speed - do i start slow at first and then speed up slightly.
Any help would be appreciated

Welcome to our forum ... I would start with a Black pad.. the rotary can do damage quickly in the wrong hands ... prime the pad with product and start slow

Ok
Will go with black pad and prime
But how long do i work the product? Utill it's all gone? People say to work product until it "breaks down" ? What does this mean? Util it disappears?
I appreciate your help.

there is nothing to "break down" , so you work it until it basically disappears ... check your pad often to make sure it does not cake (too much product) and that it is still some what damp with product and not dry.

Dancerdave: "Completely new to rotary usage" Steve stated " the rotary can do damage quickly in the wrong hands" I would be very cautious, one or two buffed cars may not demostrate mastery of a rotary. I will speak for myself, with a rotary I have burn many of edges of painted car surface. I speak for myself and no one else. YMMV Best of luck and welcome a board Sir!
