Hello,

I'm a novice and need some advice on what products to use for this oxidation issue. Steve at Poorboys mentioned
Poorboys pro polish.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What are you using to apply product?

And PP seems like the appropriate place to start to deep clean the paint

Thanks Pockets.....Going to start by hand. Steve from Poorboys said to apply in a area about the size of your hand. And he said its going to take a long time.

Yep, doing it by hand is going the be a heck of a hard time. Small sections and spreading out the work is definitely going to be your friend during the process

Pockets...Just ordered it...We'll give it a try. If it doesn't work, what about Pro Polish 2 ? It's a little harsher right?

You should work with cotton applicators not micro fiber, cotton gets a better bite on the paint. Work in 12 x 12 inch areas. It allows you better control over product and results

Cotton applicators like cotton towels? Or are these specific applicators you can buy somewhere? I was going to use microfiber towels.

Thanks,

Kevin

Haha no its a very common misconception....... although cotton towels have been completely replaced for buffing off the residue people don't understand that you still need some sort of mechanical edge while you are buffing after all you are removing clear coat so that is where microfiber lacks they are just way to soft to do any sort of correction ability.
