Would I have a possible hazing problem if I use this combo? I'm gonna redoing my wifes car soon and she has light cobbwebbs and a couple of scratches.

SSR1 is a very mild abrasive. Using it with a light cut LC orange pad seems like a bit of a mis-match to me (the pad is much more aggressive than the product). Depending upon the severity of the cob webs, you may need as little as SSR1 with a white LC polishing pad or as much as SSR2.5 with a LC orange pad. My preference is to increase the power of the product before stepping up to a more aggressive pad.
The texture of the orange pad may result in some hazing. Hazing will be more noticeable with darker colors of paint and can generally be corrected by following up with a milder polish and pad (like SSR1 with a polishing pad).
