Scuff on black Mustang GT

I have a black 05 Mustang GT convertable. I don't have a big problem with swirls, been very careful on what I use on it.
My problem is two scuff marks on the left rear corner. They are not deep, just on the surface but wax has not taken them out.
Since it is a small area which SSR should I use to remove the scuffs. Plan to do it by hand. Thanks.

I am certainly not the expert, but I would try first - PwC or PwC Blue with MF towel like DMT.

If you need to use a SSR, I would start with the least abrasive, SSR 1. then step into the SSR2.5 if SSR 1 does not work.

I would use Professional Polish with a cotton cloth ... then rewax the area :D

I tried the Pro Polish but it did not take the scuffs out. Should my next step be the PwC or SSR1?

what kind of applicator did you use? did you rub really hard? by hand you have to rub pretty hard and fast (sort of duplicating what a machine would do) ..you should actually feel the cloth heat up

I used a 100% cottom cloth like you said. I thought I rubbed hard enough but I didn't do it hard enough for the cloth to heat up. I'll give it another shot. Thanks.
