This particular car is regularly driven except winter. It is locally hand washed when I can't get over to do it. It had the front and rear bumper covers re-painted early this year due to a factory defect. The dealer did a great job. It does have some RIDS and swirls still. A little compound in some nooks and crannies was found. There are some scratches from past years wear and tear.

Objective: Polish out RIDS and swirls. Remove scratches, or greatly improve upon them.

Keeping in mind this is a regular driver 100% is not the goal. A test spot for pad and polish choice revealed it could be 95% without compounding.

Process

Exterior
Two bucket wash- MF mitt/Griots car wash 1oz/2gal.
Clay-Clay Magic, Megs Quick Detailer for lubrication
Wheels- Griot's wheel cleaner
Wheelwells & tires- PB Bold & Bright
Glass- Sprayaway & MF followed by coffee filter buff

Engine Bay
Separate two bucket wash- MF mitt/ulta soft brushes Griots car wash 2oz/2gal(doubled)
All Carbon fiber treated w/PB Polish w/Sealant
All other engine CD-2 buffed down with MF
Glass- Sprayaway & MF followed by coffee filter buff

Polish
ADT 10511 rotary
2 pass Menzerna po85rd, Orange LC CCS
50/50 ISO wipe clarity check
1 pass PB Polish w/Sealant
1 hand application PB Polish w/Sealant w/foam applicator like wax
1 hr cure
PB EXP


Interior
Floors cleaned w/PB Spray & Wipe w/cotton cloth
Carbon fiber- PB Spray & Wipe, PB Polish w/Sealant w/cotton cloth, PB EXP
Soft surfaces- damp microfiber
Glass- Sprayaway & MF followed by coffee filter buff
All jambs- PB Polish w/sealant w/cotton cloth, PB EXP

I have been fortunate to log, along with my wife, about 500 miles total in this car. There have been many open twisty roads and long rural highway miles enjoyed. It's truly a blast. Bare bones as it gets it's one of my wife's favorites. I thank the owner for those opportunities.

The vehicle was taken in for repairs on the front and rear bumper(defect). It was given a full "polish" at the dealer. The before pictures are after an ISO wipe down after wash. Some scratches have happened during washes that I didnt have time to perform or do and a little from show wipe downs. I try my best to keep up with it. It is fully prepared everytime for a show. We have won multiple awards with his car at over 6000 miles some would say thats high. Its driven like what it is "a car" not treated like china.

Looks amazing! Must be a blast to drive . I actually detailed a Scuderia last June. I need to start taking more pics! I get so caught up in the detailing process that I never take pics. I am getting better thou .
