I just found out yesterday that our good friend Rick aka rabbi, has suffered 2nd degree burns over a good part of his body
It would be appreciated if you keep him in your prayers and pray for a speedy recovery :smt083

I know what its like to be burned that bad.. its a pretty horrible experience.. Just take it one day at a time and keep your head up!

last time we talked he was just resting and medicated to help with the pain ... he won't know for a while if he'll need skin grafts

Had a short chat with rabbi yesterday .. he is going to therapy and feels like he's on the road to recovery. He will know more next week when he see a burn specialist .. so keep up the prayers, it's obviously working ..

I considered that . . . but I didn't want to give it a "good" or better rating at first as I didn't like the news . . . but now that our friend is doing better, I've given the thread an "excellent" rating!

sorry for no caps but out 10 fingers only 3 of them work well.
thank you all for the get well prayers and wishes as they obviously worked.
today i went to the burn center and was told no skin grafts are needed. i am a happy man.
now wearing a compression sleeve and glove.it is and will be a long slow healing process.
besides your well intentions my wife's love and caring of me are responsible for my recovery.
what she does,done, and has gone through is more than one person should have to bear as not only does she have to take care of me but also our granddaughter during the day and an 84 yr. old dad.
again i thank you all for you people are a class act and even in this condition i am a very lucky person.
