real nice, except for the picture from the nudist camp :smt087
Nice! What did you use on the door jambs?
That's the body of a detailing God.
You're just jealous.
water + apc (bmw's are sprayed with cosmoline before being shipped by sea.
THen S W
Then QW as best I could
Ron, I use 3M General Purpose adhesive remover, then QD, then LSP. Safe on paint. It's a goto for cosmoline. I do alot of Porsches they are covered, engine, jambs etc. Nice work by the way.
Very nice O shirtless one.

APC diluted would be a much safer and cheaper alternative
Steve is right APC is safer. 3M GPAR is flammable.
I have had no ill effects on fully cured paint.
I never use 3M GPAR in direct sun. It should be used at the begining of a detail (will strip protection).
Soft MF on paint. General MF on engine, suspension. Always standard wash or waterless wash or good QD after. After cleaning that will remove residue. I always put my MF's in a solution of 3gal to 3cup of Simple Green to soak for a day. I use them for dirty work after.
This sound like one of those pill commercials.
so that means i would have to take the cigarette out of my mouth.............
i don;t use simple green, only pb apc. simple green pits aluminum, so i see no reason to duplicate product like that.
APC is fine just use what you prefer to clean the residue off. The soaking is just to disolve the 3M residue from the towels.
Sometime its just best to throw them away.
