hi guys, great forum you have here ;)

until now, i have only used autoglym products, ive just had a look at the poorboys website, and want to order a selection of products to take care of both of my cars..... i'd greatly appreciate some advice on making up some sort of kit. also, ive never used microfibre products before, could someone please tell me what each of the cloths in the starter kit is used for (http://www.poorboysworld.com/microfiber.htm)? eg:how many of which cloth should i use for polishing a car? i have never used a clay bar before, and always hand polished my cars (a bit scared to use a machine polisher  )....

also, is there an aussie website or a shop in australia where i can purchase poorboys products?

here are my cars....

(This is from the "distributor" list on the PBW home site.)

16" Velvet Smooth Glass Towel - for glass ( ;) ) I would suggest at least a couple glass towels, as you may want to have one in the house as well. (They make nice gifts too!)
16" Work Towel - general dusting/cleaning->dash, door jambs, etc. Probably a 3 pak would work for the time being.
16" Super Thick and Plush - for removing residue from compounds,
polishes, and waxes.
16" Mega-Plush - for buffing, waxing, polishing, quick detailing or washing.
21 x 36 Velvet Smooth - quick detailing and buffing. (Or really big glass! :) )
24 x 36 Waffle weave - drying. 1 may do you, but if you don't wash the towels very often, you should have enough to last as many car washes as you do between the towel washes.
Mega-Plush Mitt - for areas you may have trouble holding onto a cloth, the cuff will hold in on your wrist. It's basically a Mega-plush cloth in the form of a mitt.

With the Mega Plush and Super Thick and Plush, it would be up to you to decide which you like more. For QD'ing, I would go with the Mega-Plush. (I haven't tried the DMT's yet, but they are supposed to be the ultimate towels.) I would say get a bunch of these!
To do the average car, you'd likely use 2 cloths for each step, assuming thin application (not much residue to remove) If you apply it heavily, well, then, maybe you'd be safer buying in bulk. ;)

Hope this helps!
