Heavy oxidation removal with PC & SSR3

OK this was some very bad oxidization on a truck with 14yr old neglected paint...this is the first time I wish I had a rotary!! The heat generated with the rotary would have cut my time at least in half, but with some patience and time the PC, SSR3 & Meguiars cutting pad finally brought the shine back.

The key for removal of bad oxidization like this is to work in small sections (~ 1'x1' section at a time), high speed, slow movements and moderate pressure.

Used:
SSR3
PC - Speed 6
Meguiars Burgandy cutting pad

Here is the before:

SSR3 works well with a rotary as it is a sod to get to break down and needs heat. I find though that it will haze the surface and needs to be finished off with SSr2.5 and a lighter pad. Also it gunks up quickly.
